Job summary

Husqvarna is seeking a Precision Assembly Technician in Kansas for building performance equipment used in cutting and sawing applications. You will read blueprints and work orders, assemble engines, motors, and guards, and complete final testing and labeling of finished machines.

Responsibilities include crating finished units, maintaining a clean workspace, following safety practices, and collaborating with supervisors to ensure quality standards are met. Prior assembly experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience or related shop background preferred.
• Comfort following verbal and written work instructions and blueprints.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle pneumatic tools with vibration.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and blueprints; assemble components per spec.
• Pre-assemble parts including wiring engines, motors, and switchboxes.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools to assemble, bolt, wire, and torque assemblies.
• Finish and test units; complete inspection paperwork and decals.
• Crate/box finished machines with literature and stage for pickup.
• Maintain tools and work area; report repairs and safety concerns.
