Job summary

Trinity Precision Inc., based in Wichita, Kansas, seeks an Assembler to join its aerospace parts team. You will perform hands-on assembly from blueprints, routers, and work instructions, ensuring high attention to detail and quality while meeting customer specifications.

The role requires 5+ years of similar experience, with proficiency in measurement tools and bonding/sealing processes. You will work on diverse aircraft components, supporting smooth production and iterative quality improvements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints, routers or work instructions to assemble parts for various aircraft customers
• Demonstrate attention to detail for assembly parts and have the ability to rework/touchup parts as required
• Use various measurement/inspection tools including calipers, tape measure, scales, torque wrenches, air gauges and electrical bond equipment
• Demonstrate proficiency in fay and fillet sealing per various customer requirements
• Install bushings and bearings per various customer requirements
• Understand and execute Clickbond process
• Perform both assembly and testing of electrical bond per various customers
• Clean, assemble, disassemble and replace parts as required
• Operate drill press, palm/hand drills, arbor press/hydraulic press, hand and floor rivet squeeze, sanders/grinders, sealant guns, sealant ovens and part-specific tools and fixtures
• Use chemicals, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints as required
• Keep assembly department clean and free of foreign object debris
• Keep Production Manager advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments
• Use Global Shop for clocking jobs and time as required
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related assigned tasks as needed
• Other duties will be delegated as required

Qualifications:

• Expertise with drawings, MBD, GD&T, and other aerospace engineering requirements
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Experience:

• 5+ years of industry experience, including assembly / sub‑assembly and blueprint reading
