Job summary

StandardAero in Florida seeks an Inspector to examine aircraft engine components, document configurations, and determine repairability. You will verify cleanliness and condition, record results, and generate repair documentation.

The role requires 1+ years in the engine components repair field and at least 1 year of on-the-job training toward a Repairman Certificate, plus ability to lift 50 pounds and sit for half the shift. RTS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in the aircraft engine components repair industry.
• On-the-job training (OJT) of at least 1 year to qualify for Repairman Certificate in a short period.

Responsibilities

• Determine and document product configuration and modification status to ensure regulatory and customer compliance.
• Verify parts are clean and in acceptable condition to perform inspections.
• Evaluate products for repairability and identify items that do not meet requirements.
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate inspection documentation.
• Generate documentation for repair of unserviceable components.
• Inspect and identify parts through RTS (Return to Service) process.
• Support production by supervising trainees, cross-training team members, improving processes, and upholding safety.
