Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT) in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Electronics Assembler to accurately complete wire and cable assemblies. You will read diagrams, assemble wires into harnesses, and solder connections per schematics.

The role requires footwork through tasks like measuring, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds, with attention to quality and safety as core expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to sit, stand and walk regularly.
• Vision exam required to inspect work at close distance.
• Ability to read wire diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic math.
• Ability to use all tools required for wire harness assembly.
• Keen attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
• Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.
• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
