Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies in Mesa, AZ is seeking an assembler to build cables and harnesses per schematics. You will read wire diagrams, assemble wires into harnesses, solder connections, and ensure quality through measurement.

This role trains less experienced staff, requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience, the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and willingness to pass a vision test.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in cable and wire assemblies.
• Able to regularly sit, stand and walk.
• Able to pass a vision exam to inspect work at close distance.
• Able to read wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics.
• Able to use measuring tools and perform basic math.
• Able to use all tools required for wire harness assembly.
• Keen attention to detail and quality.
• Able to bend, stoop and reach.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.


• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.


• Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.


• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.


• Solder parts or connections between parts.


• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.


• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements
