Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies, a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking an experienced Cable/Wire Harness Technician in Mesa, AZ. You will mentor assemblers, complete prototypes, and work from electromechanical drawings to build and inspect harnesses per IPC/WHMA-A-620.

The role requires 10+ years in cable/wire assemblies, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read schematics, measure parts, and collaborate with Engineering to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in cable and wire assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret wire diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Able to pass a vision exam and use measuring tools.
• Ability to read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics.
• Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and do basic math.

Responsibilities

• Mentor less-experienced assemblers and demonstrate assembly processes per applicable standards.
• Complete prototype or first article assemblies.
• Read and interpret electromechanical drawings and form recommendations.
• Assemble and inspect cable/wire harnesses per IPC/WHMA-A-620.
• Document processes and findings related to experiments, builds, root-cause analysis, etc.
• Work with Engineering to propose process updates and troubleshoot.
• Use and program equipment to enhance processes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
