Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking team players for assembly and testing roles at the Mount Holly Springs facility. The position involves using microscopes and handheld tools to perform automated assembly and circuit-board level tasks.

On-the-job training is provided and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, 401k, and other incentives. Work is scheduled Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with a starting pay of $18/hour and opportunities for bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work both independently and in a team.
• Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Quality and safety minded; basic computer, math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Use of microscopes, soldering irons, hot air tools, epoxy dispensers, and small hand tools.
• Machine operations to perform automated assembly functions.
• Read and follow documents to determine proper assembly and processing procedures.
• Soldering, epoxy dispense, and assembling of components at circuit board level.
• Other duties as assigned.
