Job summary

Teledyne Relays is seeking a mechanically skilled assembler to support precision relay production. You will read assembly drawings, inspect solder joints, and assemble small components under a microscope, ensuring quality in semi-routine tasks with clear guidance.

The role requires 2–4 years of assembly experience, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to communicate with leads, supervisors and customers. IPC J-STD-001 inspector certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 2 to 4 years of mechanical assembly experience (required).
• IPC J-STD-001 Inspector (CIS) certification preferred up to Space level.
• Must read and interpret documents and operation procedures.
• Must communicate effectively to Lead, Supervisor, Customers and colleagues.
• Ability to apply instructions from written, oral or diagram form.
• Good eye-hand coordination and dexterity to assemble small parts.

Responsibilities

• Work with a microscope to assemble small components.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and procedures.
• Perform semi-routine assignments with general and detailed instructions as needed.
• Visually inspect solder joints, wiring and staking to IPC J-STD-001.
• Assemble relays or switches and other electronics.
• Adjust and test relays, switches and related electronics.
