Job summary

Teledyne Micropac is seeking an Assembly technician to perform diverse electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks, including wiring, soldering, cable harnessing, and delicate hand assembly under microscopes. You will follow blueprints, set up equipment, and ensure products meet strict specifications.

The role requires sharp eye for detail, experience with small parts and hand tools, and familiarity with reading engineering drawings and bills of materials.

Qualifications

• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts
• Ability to read and work from engineer drawings and BOMs
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Knowledge of FOD control
• Overtime possible with advance notice

Responsibilities

• Follow production drawings, procedures, and work instructions for assemblies
• Perform wire bonding and delicate hand assembly under microscopes
• Ensure quality checks throughout manufacturing
• Train others as required
• Inspect finished work to meet specifications
