Job summary

Microwave Products Group (MPG) is a leading designer and manufacturer of mission-critical electronic components and subsystems. This role builds and assembles components, performs precision soldering, and inspects finished work using microscopes and precision tools to meet strict specs.

Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months related experience, and J-STD or IPC certification. The position pays USD 19–24 per hour with benefits and potential discretionary bonus,

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with 6+ months related experience
• Requires prior soldering experience; J-STD or IPC certification required
• Must be able to read drawings, blueprints and schematics, and perform mathematical calculations

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products or systems according to work orders and drawings
• Position and align parts using jigs, fixtures or holding devices
• Crimp, stake, weld, solder or bond components to achieve secure assemblies
• Make connections between component leads and wires using soldering or related bonding methods
• Inspect finished work and perform on-line go/no-go testing with microscopes and measuring equipment
• Record job data on forms, logs and time sheets
