Job summary

SPX Technologies in Orlando, FL is seeking a production assembler to contribute to our water infrastructure equipment manufacturing. You will interpret drawings, solder, crimp, and assemble components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

This role requires hands-on skills with hand and power tools, ability to lift 30 lbs, and a commitment to a clean, efficient workspace. Overtime may be required; IPC certifications are preferred and PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read assembly drawings and follow detailed instructions.
• Skilled in hand soldering both through-hole and surface mount components.
• Proficient in using crimping tools for small contacts.
• Experience with power tools such as drills and engraving machines.
• Knowledge of adhesives (Loctite, epoxies) and safe materials handling.
• High attention to detail and safety standards.
• IPC soldering certifications preferred.
