Job summary

Powermatic is seeking a Production Harness Builder in Livermore, CA to assemble electric cables and harnesses according to schematics. You will interpret work orders, read diagrams, and prepare materials for assembly.

Daily tasks include using soldering irons and crimping tools, testing wiring continuity, labeling products, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certs okay.
• 1-2 years of electronic assembly experience.
• Skilled with hand and power tools.
• Able to read blueprints, sketches or verbal instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables and harnesses per schematics and work orders.
• Position and connect ends to components using soldering or crimping tools.
• Read diagrams and wire lists to determine materials and sequence.
• Wrap, cut, tie and secure wires; label products and packages.
• Test wiring continuity and ensure insulation and fit meet specs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist in creating first article work instructions.
