Reading blueprints and ensuring quality are essential. Qualified candidates have 1+ year wiring or electrical assembly experience, can read wiring diagrams, and are comfortable using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of wiring, cable assembly, or electrical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and color-coded wiring.
  • Experience using hand and power tools, soldering irons, and crimping tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Understanding of quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, route, wrap, and tie wires to build wire harnesses
  • Solder and crimp wires to terminals, connectors, and components
  • Install harnesses, components, and subassemblies into electrical equipment
  • Perform continuity and functional testing
  • Inspect assemblies for quality and troubleshoot or repair defects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, work orders, and specifications
  • Maintain tools and keep a clean, organized work area
