Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician in Wixom, MI to assemble, test, and inspect custom wire harnesses, cable assemblies, electrical boxes/panels, and PCB assemblies per drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications.

You will perform SMT and through-hole PCB assembly and rework, troubleshoot wiring and assembly issues, and ensure quality according to IPC-A-610/IPC-A-620 and ISO standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly, wire harness manufacturing, or related production work.
• Experience with SMT and/or through-hole PCB assembly and hand soldering.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610 certification, or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom wire harnesses, cable assemblies, electrical boxes/panels, and subassemblies per blueprints and specs.
• Cut, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires and cables using appropriate tools.
• Install connectors, terminals, heat shrink tubing, labels, and protective sleeving as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair wiring and assembly issues using electrical schematics.
• Perform SMT and through-hole PCB assembly and rework, inspect PCBAs for quality, and follow IPC/ISO standards.
