OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking an Electric Motor Repair Mechanic in Missouri to diagnose, repair, test and rebuild electric motors and generators. The role involves hands-on work with a variety of equipment in a safety-conscious shop setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and experience repairing industrial motors and generators. Familiarity with precision tools, basic computer use, and the ability to operate cranes and forklifts is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft Windows/Excel and Apple devices.
• Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, including micrometers.
• Must provide and maintain personal hand tools appropriate for the position.

Responsibilities

• Safely inspect, disassemble, diagnose, repair, assemble, test, and paint industrial electric motors and generators.
• Perform repairs on a variety of equipment including three-phase AC induction motors, synchronous motors, wound rotor motors, DC motors and generators.
• Utilize precision measuring tools like micrometers and document repair processes with Apple devices.
• Complete work reports using Microsoft Windows and Excel.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following safety procedures.
