Job summary

Ascension is seeking a skilled Imaging professional for Echocardiography at the Nashville facility. The role emphasizes complex diagnostic imaging, patient comfort, and real-time identification of pathologies to support radiologists in life-saving diagnoses.

The position requires BLS and credentialing in cardiovascular sonography/ARDMS/ARRT within 6 months of hire, with education options spanning HS equivalency to advanced degrees.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire date.
• Cardiac Sonographer/ARRT/ARDMS/CCI credentials required within 6 months of hire date.
• Education aligned with the listed degree options (HS equivalency, Associate's, or relevant experience).

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic imaging studies using transducers and parameters to capture clear clinical images.
• Identify pathologies and structures in real-time to support radiologists with accurate data.
• Assist patients through exams with clear communication and empathetic care.
• Validate image quality and patient history in PACS to ensure rapid access to records.
• Uphold safety and quality standards, ensuring procedures meet regulatory requirements.
