Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking an experienced echocardiography technologist to acquire transthoracic images under physician supervision. You will perform morphologic imaging, assess myocardial function, record hemodynamics, and may conduct stress testing or contrast imaging as directed.

RDCS (PE) or RCCS certification is preferred. The role supports patient care, trains new staff, and ensures safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved echocardiography program with RDCS certification preferred.
• Must meet state licensure as healthcare professional.
• Prior experience in echocardiography and patient care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality standards.
• Gathers echocardiographic diagnostic images for all patients under physician directions.
• Communicates findings to the Healthcare Team and supports safe patient care.
