Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an Echocardiography Imaging Technologist for the full-time day shift. You will perform complex diagnostic imaging studies, expertly maneuver transducers, and select precise technical parameters to produce high‑quality images that support life‑saving diagnoses while guiding patients with clear communication and empathy.

Qualifications

BLS Provider within 30 days of hire (AHA/ARC accepted).
Credentialed in CCI Cardiac Tech or ARRT Sonography or ARDMS obtained within 6 months of hire.
High School diploma or equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities

Perform complex diagnostic imaging studies with ultrasound transducers and precise parameters.
Identify pathologies and anatomical structures in real-time to aid radiologists.
Guide patients through exams with positioning and clear communication, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Validate image quality and patient history in PACS for quick access by the medical team.
Uphold safety and quality standards to comply with regulatory requirements.
