Job summary

Superior Industries is seeking a detail-driven drafter/designer to transform engineering concepts into clear, accurate drawings for washing equipment and parts. You will create detailed drawings, manage ERP items and bills of material, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate new designs and improvements, update drawings with GD&T as needed, and ensure adherence to drafting standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to know and understand Superior's engineering standards.
• Ability to quickly learn Inventor, Vault and JD Edwards ERP software.
• Knowledge of general drafting standards and geometric tolerancing.
• Ability to work closely with other team members in a mutually beneficial manner.

Responsibilities

• Design & Drafting: Create detailed drawings for washing equipment and parts. Includes ERP item creation and bills of material.
• Innovation: Collaborate with the team to generate ideas for new product designs and improvements to existing ones.
• Update and Maintain Drawings: Work closely with production teams to ensure drawings are clear, precise, and meet production needs
• Timeliness: Ensure drawings and bills of material are completed on schedule and align with Superior's drafting standards.
• Quality: Ensure drawings have appropriate quality controls including GD&T requirements as needed.
