Job summary

Superior Industries Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer I to contribute to the design, development and implementation of mechanical systems for crushing equipment.

You will move from concept to manufacturing, supporting all stages of the engineering process. Responsibilities include coordinating product design for crushing equipment, detailing custom components, performing design analyses, testing and prototyping, and creating drawings and BOMs for production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical design and product development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product design and development for crushing equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates.
• Design and detail custom crushing equipment.
• Perform design analysis for components.
• Perform testing and prototyping of new products.
• Create drawings and bills of material that are accurate and contain all information required by production.
• Evaluate and implement design changes.
