Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking an Assembler - Patio Stock in Lawrenceville, GA to work on special production lines following SOPs. You will assemble doors and related components, verify materials, and maintain quality while meeting deadlines.

This on-site role requires reading the bill of materials, lifting heavy parts, and operating manual and pneumatic tools with attention to detail. Join a manufacturing team that values safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
1-2 Years in the field or related area.

Responsibilities

Verify materials being used is correct by reading the bill of materials.
Ensure materials meet quality expectations.
Label units as needed.
Door assembly is more complex and higher-level skill is needed.
Ensure quality is met.
Assembles fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units.
Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Verifies that components are placed in the correct position per SOP.
Repeat tasks until assigned other duties.
Cleans up work area when shift ends.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
