Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN seeks a Distribution Components Assembler for the 2nd shift to assemble components used with bushings and ensure products meet customer specifications.

You will work with standard and specialized tools at assembly stations, may operate forklifts, read drawings and procedures, and coordinate with engineering, purchasing, customer service, and shipping as needed. Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read drawings and procedures.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with standard and customized tools.
• Operates at assembly stations and with cranes, process equipment, computer controls, and fixtures.
• May be required to operate a forklift.
• May provide information to engineering, purchasing, customer service and shipping as required by assignment.
• Continuously trains on new equipment or processes with limited supervision.
• Works with various materials including paper, oils, gaskets, metals, epoxies and seals.
• Performs repetitive fast-paced assembly to meet deadlines.
• Adheres to Hitachi Energy's safety and integrity values.
