Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Distribution Components Assembler for the 2nd shift to help manufacture components used with bushings. You will read drawings and procedures, operate assembly equipment, and work at designated stations with standard and customized tooling.

Responsibilities include assisting with data from engineering and shipping, operating fixed equipment and potentially a forklift, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read drawings and procedure documents.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard and customized tools at assembly stations.
• Work with cranes, process equipment, computer controls and fixtures.
• May be required to operate a forklift as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, customer service and shipping as required.
