Responsibilities

• Examine castings for conformance to drawings and related documents.
• Perform work according to written procedures and verbal/written instructions.
• Dimensionally examine castings, fixtures, gauges and measuring equipment.
• Verify devices meet calibration/measurement criteria.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure conformance to quality standards.
• Record quantities of material approved/rejected on route cards.
• Identify actions when problems occur and know resources to use.
