Job summary

RRD in Ohio is seeking an experienced print operator to manage high‑resolution inkjet equipment and job preparation. You will set up and program printing, monitor daily logs and manifests, and release jobs from the queue while adjusting image position and color quality to meet customer specs.

You will also handle supply orders, maintain output quality, and may train junior operators on corrective adjustments.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of digital print/inkjet equipment setup and operation.
• Ability to diagnose and correct operational problems affecting output.
• Knowledge of color theory and color corrections per specs.
• Experience with file manipulation and digital print formats.
• Willingness to train other employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate high resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipment.
• Program and prepare jobs for printing.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests.
• Setup, program and release jobs from print queue.
• Adjust image position and ensure color quality.
• Monitor output for accuracy and image quality.
• Order supplies such as ink, chemicals, blankets, rollers, paper, and tabs.
• May instruct junior operators in corrective adjustments.
