RRD in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled print operator to program, prepare, and run high-resolution digital print jobs. You'll monitor output quality, maintain logs, and manage ink, media, and supplies to meet tight production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced knowledge of digital print/inkjet imaging equipment and operation
• Ability to diagnose and correct quality or timing issues affecting output
• Strong understanding of color theory and how to adjust to customer specs
• Excellent knowledge of file manipulation and formats for digital print
• Knowledge of feed rollers, tensioning, timing and inline finishing per job specs
• May instruct junior operators on adjustments
• How to assess symptoms, causes and remedies for print issues

Responsibilities

• Operate high-resolution, inkjet printing equipment
• Program and prepare print jobs
• Maintain production logs and delivery manifests
• Setup, program and release jobs from the print queue
• Adjust image position, color quality and finishing per job specs
• Monitor output quality for accuracy
• Order ink, chemicals, blankets, rollers, paper and supplies
• Maintain inventory levels
