Job summary

Associated Fuel Systems, Inc. in Conley, GA is seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Machinist to join our team. The role involves precision machining and rebuilding of heavy-duty diesel engine components to meet OEM specifications.

Responsibilities include block and cylinder head machining, magnaflux inspection, precision measurement, and regular maintenance of machinery. The candidate will work with mechanics and other technicians in a clean, high-tech facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy-duty diesel engine machining and rebuilding.
• Ability to read blueprints and OEM specification manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine block machining including boring, honing, line boring, and decking.
• Machine cylinder heads, including valve jobs, surfacing, and installing guides/seats.
• Clean and inspect engine parts using magnafluxing.
• Measure components with micrometers, dial bore gauges, and calipers.
• Perform regular maintenance on machinery and tools.
• Collaborate with mechanics and other technicians.
