Job summary

You will verify production orders, determine lift size per cut to meet tight tolerances, and maintain records of cutting waste while keeping safety and cleanliness a priority. GED or 3–6 months related experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or 3–6 months related experience or equivalent
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical information and procedures
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) in all units of measure

Responsibilities

• Check material against production order for accuracy
• Determine lift size per cut to maintain tolerances
• Operate and adjust the guillotine cutter (set backstop, clamp pressure, keep cutter square) and replace blades
• Block, stack, feed, cut, retrieve and re-stack sheets as required
• Maintain production records and dispose of waste per instructions
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on cutter and related equipment
• Inspect machine guards for safety compliance
• Keep work area and equipment clean; maintain punctuality and attendance
