Job summary

Element Six, part of De Beers Group, is seeking a diligent technician to join our Santa Clara manufacturing team. You will support post-production processes using lapping, polishing, and precision measurement tools.

Training is provided by subject experts, and you may cross-train into other processes as needed. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and attention to detail in high-value diamond-related components.

Qualifications

• Work to very exacting standards on very high-value parts.
• A diligent and careful worker with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience in machining or lapping/polishing is preferred but not required.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy to use QC tools and perform data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Deliver work safely and to a standard that ensures health and safety of others.
• Undertaking diamond wafer processing (lapping, polishing, quality control checks) and any other ad-hoc requirements.
• Use lappers, polishing tools and precise measurement tools to ensure products meet specifications.
• Maintain equipment and workspace to a high standard of neatness and cleanliness.
• Work as an integral member of the production team to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Be a role model for our company values.
