Qualifications

• The applicant must work to very exacting standards for high value parts.
• A diligent, careful worker with keen eye for detail.
• Ideal candidate has machining, lapping/polishing skills or demonstrates competence in an artisanal trade.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy to use QC tools and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Deliver work safely and to health and safety standards.
• Perform diamond wafer processing, lapping and polishing, and quality control checks.
• Use lapping/polishing tools and precision measurement instruments to meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Collaborate with production team to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Support cross-training in related processes as needed.
