Job summary

INNIO Group is seeking a Finishing Operator - Machining to deburr and finish precision components used in high‑performance power systems. You will remove burrs, inspect parts and ensure parts meet dimensional and quality standards while safely handling equipment and materials.

The role requires experience with deburring tools and finishing equipment, along with the ability to read work instructions and follow lean processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, machining, metal finishing, deburring or precision manufacturing.
• Experience using pneumatic deburring tools, grinders, files, or similar finishing equipment.
• Ability to follow work instructions, drawings, and safety procedures; familiarity with lean and 5S.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual deburring, edge finishing, cleaning, and surface prep of precision components.
• Remove burrs and surface imperfections without damaging features.
• Perform visual inspections and basic dimensional checks per instructions.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and inspection devices as required.
• Identify and communicate nonconforming components per quality procedures.
• Clean components and remove chips, coolant, debris before inspection.
• Handle, move, stage, load and unload components safely.
• Verify part identification, production status, routing, and traceability.
• Maintain deburring tools, gauges, fixtures in good condition.
• Support machining operations with fixture prep, chip removal, prep.
• Perform secondary operations like part washing, marking, rust prevention, packaging.
• Cross-train and support other machining operations as needed.
