Responsibilities

• Deburrs surfaces to layout lines or specs and checks material removal accuracy.
• Inspects surfaces with magnifying glass and evaluates finishes.
• Verifies conformity using templates or gauges and measuring instruments.
• Smooths and polishes with emeriti cloth or power buffer and checks smoothness.
• May test workpieces on presses or with other parts.
• Inspects and measures parts to maintain SPC charts.
