Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience deburring parts in a production, machine shop, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience using grinders, polishers, hand tools, and related shop equipment safely and effectively.
• Experience washing, cleaning, or preparing metal or machined components for assembly, finishing, coating, or shipment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deburr machined parts using grinders, polishers, hand tools, and other shop equipment.
• Wash, clean, dry, and prepare finished and in-process parts for the next stage of production.
• Inspect parts for sharp edges, burrs, surface defects, cleanliness, dimensional concerns, and overall quality.
• Organize, stage, label, and move raw materials, work-in-process material, and finished parts throughout the production shop.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
