Job summary

Top Echelon LLC in Bay Shore, NY is seeking an experienced Deburrer to remove sharp edges and surface imperfections from manufactured components, supporting production with precision work. You will operate deburring machines, inspect parts, follow travelers and work orders, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years deburring experience or demonstrated ability.
• Ability to use calipers and manual inspection tools.
• Familiarity with tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, and accessories.
• Experience using hoists, hand trucks, conveyors, and lifts.
• Ability to read travelers, specifications, and work orders.
• ERP systems familiarity, including Epicor 10.
• Strong problem solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Strong English communication; Spanish a plus.
• Flexibility and attention to detail in changing manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain deburring machines and grinding tools.
• Deburr components to remove sharp edges and excess material.
• Perform light grinding of welds and surface imperfections.
• Inspect and measure finished parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Follow travelers, work orders, and specifications to complete operations in the correct sequence.
• Monitor machine operation, identify problems, and make necessary adjustments.
• Mount and position tools, fixtures, and accessories in machines.
• Communicate production needs and issues with coworkers across shifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
