Job Juncture is seeking an experienced Deburrer to support our manufacturing client’s production line in Bay Shore, NY. The role focuses on removing sharp edges, excess material, and surface imperfections from components to ensure quality.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, hands-on deburring experience, and the ability to follow manufacturing instructions while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Hands-on deburring experience or demonstrated related skills.
• Ability to use calipers and manual inspection tools.
• Familiarity with tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, and related accessories.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain deburring machines and grinding tools.
• Deburr components to remove sharp edges and excess material.
• Perform light grinding of welds and surface imperfections.
• Inspect and measure finished parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Follow travelers, work orders, and specifications to complete operations in the correct sequence.
• Monitor machine operation, identify problems, and make necessary adjustments.
• Mount and position tools, fixtures, and accessories in machines.
• Communicate production needs and issues with coworkers across shifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
