Job summary

Sika is seeking a Cutting Operator to perform and maintain daily safe operation of fiber cutting/packaging lines in Chattanooga, TN. You will inspect, grade, and pack products while documenting quality checks and performing minor equipment adjustments as needed.

You will also enter data in SAP, ensure accurate pallet tickets, uphold safety standards, and support TPM activities to meet production goals.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
SAP experience preferred.
Familiarity with HMI systems preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Operate cutting equipment and make minor adjustments as directed.
Complete shift documentation for Safety, Quality and Productivity.
Enter data into SAP for pallet tickets and manage printing as needed.
Maintain safe, clean and organized work area and follow all safety rules.
Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment to avoid production disruption.
Support TPM activities and participate in quality improvement projects.
Comply with plant procedures and participate in cross-functional training.
