Prisma Nashville is seeking a Cutter Operator to set up programs and run industrial cutting equipment for paper and cardstock. You will read job tickets, align stock, and execute cuts with safety controls to meet exact specifications.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to PPE and production deadlines. You will perform routine maintenance, measure outputs, and help move finished pieces to shipping while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience operating industrial paper cutters in a commercial printing, packaging, or bindery.
• Able to read a precision ruler and perform fractional/decimal conversions.
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with safety protocols and PPE.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and program cutters according to job tickets.
• Load, align, and cut stacks of paper with two-hand safety controls.
• Inspect cut sheets for squareness and finish.
• Perform routine maintenance and report issues.
• Stack, label, and transport finished jobs safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety protocols.
