Job summary

Mittera Creative + Tech in Arlington, TX is seeking a Cutter Operator to precisely cut printed trading card sheets and related materials, following production specs and safety procedures. You will handle guillotine and die-cutting equipment, verify dimensions, document production data, and collaborate with QA, Printing, Packaging, and Production teams to hit daily goals while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating cutting equipment in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or production is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to accurately read measurements and follow production specifications.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting equipment, including guillotine cutters, die cutters, and precision cutting machines, in accordance with safety and production procedures.
• Cut printed trading card sheets to required dimensions while maintaining proper registration and alignment.
• Review work orders and production specifications to ensure accurate setup and execution.
• Perform quality inspections to verify cut accuracy, sizing, alignment, and overall product quality.
• Monitor equipment performance and make routine adjustments to maintain cutting precision.
• Identify and remove defective materials before they proceed to the next production stage.
• Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced, waste, and downtime.
• Assist with machine setup, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Printing, Packaging, and Production teams to meet daily production goals.
