Job summary

Motivating Graphics in the Dallas–Fort Worth area seeks a Die Cutter Operator for a full-time, on-site role. You will set up, operate, and monitor die-cutting equipment to produce high-quality packaging components according to job specifications.

Read work orders, prepare materials, and adjust machines to sustain output. You will inspect pieces for quality, perform basic troubleshooting, document activities, and coordinate with supervision and finishing teams to ensure an efficient workflow

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English and interpret job tickets, production schedules, and technical instructions related to printing and packaging.
• Experience operating die-cutting equipment, including machine setup, adjustment, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control with ability to measure and verify finished product against specifications.
• Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, equipment controls, and routine preventive maintenance tasks.
• Commitment to safety practices, including proper PPE use and adherence to housekeeping procedures.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production, finishing, and supervisory teams.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in printing, packaging, or manufacturing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate die-cutting equipment to meet job specifications and run schedules.
• Read and interpret work orders, tickets, and production plans; prepare materials accordingly.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and output; monitor samples for accuracy.

• Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards across the work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors and finishing teams to optimize efficiency and throughput.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and material usage.
