Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Custom Applicator to apply dry fertilizer and lime safely and accurately, while operating and maintaining equipment and supporting customer relations at our location.

Responsibilities include calibration, loading/unloading, and ensuring safety compliance. The role requires state commercial applicator certification and an Ag CDL, with willingness to adapt to seasonal changes and new technologies.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows product labels, safety data sheets and orders.
• Ability to document and log field activities accurately.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required state commercial applicator certification.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Ag CDL license.
• Communicates effectively with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Apply dry fertilizer and lime to fields in a safe, accurate manner.
• Assist in mixing, loading, unloading, and transporting products.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance before field work.
• Keep applicator logs up to date and follow safety rules and regulations.
• Support operations with scouting, product transport, and field mapping.
