Job summary

Keystone Cooperative is seeking an Equipment Applicator to safely apply dry fertilizer and lime to customer fields using company equipment and field maps. The role involves accurate product rates, routine maintenance, and strong safety adherence.

You will work with the team to load, transport, and apply products, maintain logs and certifications, and support field operations across varying workloads and seasons.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; experience may offset.
• Valid driver’s license; must pass Motor Vehicle Review.
• Must obtain and maintain required state commercial applicator certification.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Ag CDL.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality application of dry fertilizer products and lime safely and efficiently.
• Use information and application equipment technology to apply correct products at correct rates.
• Assist in mixing, loading, unloading, and transporting crop protection and fertilizer products.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules including PPE.
• Maintain state applicator certification and stay current with requirements.
• Inspect equipment daily before and after field applications; keep logs up to date.
• Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Rinse and wash down equipment per regulatory guidelines in field and location.
• Assist team with physical duties and customer services for location.
