Job summary

Keystone Cooperative in Rushville, NE is seeking a Custom Applicator to apply dry fertilizer and lime to labeled crops, operating and maintaining application equipment and building strong customer relations at the location.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, state commercial applicator certification, and an Ag CDL. Overtime is expected during peak season, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance in all tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; experience may offset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass Vehicle Review.
• Must obtain and maintain state commercial applicator certification.
• Must obtain and maintain an Ag CDL.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality application of dry fertilizer and lime safely.
• Use equipment data to apply correct products and rates.
• Assist in mixing, loading, unloading, and transporting products.
• Follow all safety rules, PPE, laws and regulations.
• Maintain state logs and perform calibrations.
• Perform pre- and post-application equipment inspections.
• Rinse and wash equipment per guidelines.
• Support team in field operations and customer service.
• Overtime as the season demands.
