Job summary

Rand Whitney Container in Pawtucket, RI is seeking a full-time assembler to build and finish corrugated packaging. You will follow approved methods, read instructions, measure parts to spec, and ensure quality while maintaining safe, efficient production workflows.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with variable overtime. You will handle hand tools, report issues, and support changeovers as production needs

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets production specifications and work instructions.
• Able to read a tape measure to 1/16".
• Maintains accuracy and counts in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ensures product quality and identifies nonconforming work.

Responsibilities

• Review work instructions, samples, and priorities before starting.
• Assemble finished products using folding, laminating, gluing, or fastening methods.
• Measure and verify dimensions against specs and escalate nonconforming parts.
• Maintain accurate counts and organize in-process material and finished goods.
• Operate hand tools and light equipment safely; report issues promptly.
• Stack, pack, unitize, and move finished products per load requirements.
• Meet output, accuracy, scrap, and safety targets with consistent workmanship.
• Keep work area clean and communicate shortages or delays.
• Support changeovers and cleanup as needed to meet daily schedules.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
