Job summary

Gobravvo in California seeks a Conventional Grinder to produce precision aerospace and industrial components. Operate gap, O/D, I/D and surface grinders, read blueprints, and maintain tight tolerances while following safety and environmental regulations.

You will set up machines, inspect parts with micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other gauges, perform deburring, and ensure timely completion of production targets.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to interpret blueprints, shop travelers, and sketches
• Proficient with inspection tools: micrometers, dial bore gauges, telescope gauges, height gauges, indicators
• Familiarity with plated and thermal sprayed surfaces (chrome, nickel, cadmium)
• General knowledge of machine setup, loading, and adjustment
• Practical experience in relevant procedures and inspection methods

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate gap grinders, O/D grinders, I/D grinders, and flat/surface grinders
• Perform machining operations on complex parts while maintaining dimensional accuracy
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally using appropriate gauges
• Conduct deburring and edge breaking to ensure quality
• Comply with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules and target hours
• Maintain consistent attendance and full-shift performance
