Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment and power tools on construction sites.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
• Familiar with safety standards and OSHA practices on construction sites.
• Ability to measure and use hand tools accurately and safely.
• Experience working with carpenters, masons, and other trades; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete saws and related power tools to cut concrete, asphalt, and other substrates as directed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and plans to locate cutting lines and dimensions.
• Prepare sites by setting up barriers, safety zones, and proper saw placement.
• Coordinate cutting activities with project managers and other trades to fit the schedule.
• Maintain safety protocols and wear PPE per OSHA guidelines during all operations.
• Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including blade changes and troubleshooting.
• Support additional tasks such as concrete forming, masonry, or finishing as needed.
