Responsibilities

• Coordinate cutting activities with project managers and other trades to fit the schedule.
• Maintain safety protocols and wear PPE per OSHA guidelines during all operations.
• Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including blade changes and troubleshooting.
• Support additional tasks such as concrete forming, masonry, or finishing as needed.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Saw Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized concrete cutting equipment to execute precise cuts on various concrete surfaces, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects, from commercial buildings to infrastructure developments. Responsibilities

• Operate concrete saws and related power tools with precision to cut concrete, asphalt, and other hardscape materials according to project specifications and schematics.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine cutting locations and dimensions.
• Prepare work sites by setting up barriers, safety zones, and ensuring proper placement of saws for optimal efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, masons, and other trades to coordinate cutting activities within the overall construction schedule.
• Maintain safety protocols by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to OSHA standards during all operations.
• Conduct routine maintenance on saw equipment, including blade changes and troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist with other construction tasks such as concrete forming, masonry work, or finishing as needed to support project progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment and power tools in a construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction plans.
• Familiarity with construction management practices, estimating, inspection processes, and safety standards.
• Skills in using hand tools such as caulking guns, framing squares, and measuring devices.
• Experience working on construction sites with exposure to plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, or masonry is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in team settings while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is advantageous.
• Bilingual a plus.
