Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Concrete Coring Technician for a contract-to-hire role in Nampa, ID. The position involves standing for long periods and performing concrete-related labor with hand and power tools in a dusty production setting.

You will finish concrete structures, assist with form work, and maintain safety and quality standards while meeting daily production goals. Training and cross-training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light to moderate physical work throughout the shift.
• Previous general labor experience in construction, concrete, or production environment preferred.
• Hands-on experience with concrete finishing and general construction tasks.
• Proficiency using hand tools such as trowels, shovels, brooms, and basic construction tools.
• Ability to work safely with power tools in a production setting.
• Comfort in dusty, indoor/outdoor concrete environments.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Shape and finish concrete channels and features to meet quality and production specs.
• Use hand tools to smooth, level, and texture concrete surfaces.
• Assist with form setting, form pouring, and rebar placement as needed.
• Perform general labor duties including shoveling, material handling, and clean-up.
• Operate and handle tools safely according to procedures.
• Work around concrete, dust, and dirt while maintaining a clean area.
• Stand for the shift and perform repetitive tasks with proper PPE.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards for finished products.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production goals and cross-train as needed.
