Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Concrete Carpenter to join project teams across Maine. You will build, set, align, and strip concrete forms for foundations, walls, footings, slabs and structural work, reading drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include measuring and cutting lumber and forming materials, installing embeds and reinforcement, and coordinating with supervisors and trades to keep projects on schedule while maintaining OSHA-compliant site

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Perform basic construction math and measurement tasks.
• Maintain strict safety practices on site and follow OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Build, set, align, and strip concrete forms for foundations, walls, footings, slabs, and structural concrete.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber, plywood, and prefabricated forming systems.
• Install embeds, anchor bolts, expansion joints, and reinforcing materials as required.
• Assist with concrete placement, finishing, and curing operations.
• Verify formwork dimensions, elevations, and layout requirements.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with project supervisors, laborers, equipment operators, and other trades.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Perform form stripping, material handling, and site cleanup activities.
• Complete work accurately while meeting project schedules and quality standards.
