Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled technician for compressor assembly and testing in a manufacturing environment in the United States. You will load, align, and assemble components, run test stands, and document test results to ensure quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include masking, labeling, and prepping parts for storage or shipment, while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. The role requires following ASME and Frick MPS guidelines and participating in Kaizen activities.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
• Capable of reading drawings and following ASME/Frick MPS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Load, pipe and align compressors and related components to ensure proper run-in.
• Perform valve assembly of hand wheels unit and test stands.
• Record compressor data per test requirements and maintain quality records.
• Mask nameplates, serial plates, and control panels per instructions.
• Prepare parts for storage and packaging for shipping.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S standards.
• Participate in team activities and Kaizen events.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
