Job summary

KDC/ONE Columbus is hiring a Compounder to blend ingredients and bring bulk products to life at the New Albany facility on Beech Road. You will stage materials, operate batching equipment, and ensure strict quality and safety standards are followed to produce high-quality cosmetic and personal care products.

The role requires a high school diploma/GED, ability to handle up to 80 lbs, and comfort with GMP and PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with strong math and reading skills.
• Experience in compounding, pre-weighing, or processing is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of GMP and OSHA; wear PPE correctly.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Comfort around hot water, cleaners, and industrial equipment.
• Attention to detail and teamwork; make products used daily.

Responsibilities

• Stage and measure raw materials to create batches of bulk product.
• Operate batching tanks, mixers and equipment per specs.
• Conduct visual quality checks and report anomalies.
• Clean and sanitize equipment to stay compliant.
• Collect in-process samples for lab testing and adjust as needed.
• Document everything in SAP for accurate inventory.
• Coordinate with maintenance on calibrations and upkeep.
• Work safely in a fast-paced, wet, chemical environment.
